In the American children’s hospital there is currently only a 12-year-old girl infected with the coronavirus. Although Emma had shown no signs of impaired health in the past, the course of the Covid-19 illness is extraordinarily insidious in her. The family of the teenager in critical condition is thus sending people an important message.
From overseas comes very sad news to us about a young girl who ended up in the children’s hospital connected to a lung ventilator.
Emma showed alarming symptoms from the start, because in the first days she was coughing up blood and subsequently developed pneumonia.
The young patient underwent a transfusion, after which doctors put her on machines because she is not able to breathe on her own.
Despite her very young age, she has unfortunately become one of the extremely severe cases.
Relatives are asking the general public to pray for Emma’s recovery – they witness the relentless fight for the survival of a child infected with the new coronavirus every day.
“Everyone keeps saying it doesn’t affect young people. But here is a 12-year-old girl fighting for her life. People really must keep their distance from each other. Parents must watch their children. Everyone should finally start taking it seriously!” Emma’s uncle relayed the words of the girl’s desperate mother, adding that he himself has seen with his own eyes what a dangerous diagnosis this is.
