Diseases from artificial sweeteners (ASD) are a sea that is spreading across America. According to the latest study, the artificial sweetener aspartame is associated with metabolic and digestive diseases.
However, don’t expect your doctor to warn you about it.
ASD is responsible for many diseases, including Crohn’s disease, inflammations, gastric reflux, and irritable bowel syndrome.
Doctors do everything possible just so they don’t have to call things by their real name and can prescribe you expensive medications and schedule you for further check-ups in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, the only thing patients must do to protect their health and wallets is to limit their intake of artificial sweeteners to a minimum.
The presence of diseases from artificial sweeteners can no longer be ignored. Scientific American states that humans and mice digest and extract energy from food through genes and trillions of microbes that are connected to the digestive system.
The study found that artificial sweeteners allow extra rapid proliferation of gut bacteria that extract energy from food and store it in the form of fats.
The bitter truth about artificial sweeteners
We can say that artificial sweeteners enable the growth of bacteria that collect fat around the hips, thighs, and abdomen, says Peter Turnbaugh, an expert in microbiome interactions and metabolism at the University of California.
One experiment involved 10-week-old mice receiving a daily dose of aspartame, sucralose, or saccharin. The other group of 10-week-old mice received natural sugar.
Researchers found that the mice receiving artificial sweeteners had abnormally high blood sugar levels. This suggests their tissues had difficulty absorbing sugar (glucose) from the blood.
The body’s inability to convert glucose into energy accelerates the development of diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and liver problems.
The study authors concluded that artificial sweeteners “may have directly contributed to an even greater spread of the very epidemic they originally intended to fight” and that in some people they cause weight gain and worsening health.
“For years we have assumed that changes in the actions of gut bacteria could play some role in obesity,” said Ilseung Cho, a gastroenterologist at New York University.
The damage caused by aspartame is irreparable
Unfortunately, the consequences of consuming artificial sweeteners are irreversible. There are no prescription drugs that can cure the health problems caused by consuming artificial sweeteners.
Surprisingly, more than 70% of reported cases of fibromyalgia, chronic depression, irritable bowel syndrome, and acid reflux into the esophagus were caused by the consumption of artificial chemicals that authorities approved as safe for consumption.
One of the long-term consequences of regular consumption of artificial sweeteners is cancer. ASD may be a short-term consequence, but it should not be taken lightly.
Prescription drugs used to treat these “chronic diseases” cause side effects that often require taking additional medications. This often leads to a worsening of the original condition.
Fortunately, you don’t need any prescription drugs or even a doctor to treat ASD. Just throw away the sugar-free chewing gums and candies you bought, as well as all drinks and foods labeled low- or zero-calorie ( “light” and “zero”).
Always read the ingredients listed on the packaging. If you see that they contain aspartame, sucralose, sorbitol, acesulfame potassium (acesulfame-k), aspartic acid, or saccharin, do not consume them.
If you need to satisfy your sweet cravings and don’t want to increase your energy intake, try xylitol or stevia, or simply eat more fruit.
Conclusion
If your health problems persist, make an exact list of the foods you eat in a given week and consult it with a naturopath or a nutrition counselor.
You don’t need someone prescribing you poisoning. You simply need to stop taking it!
