All women want to feel good and it doesn’t matter at all how old they are. Children even know this much better than adult women. Beautiful dresses, shoes and accessories are part of every woman’s life. But no one really understands the situation that occurred at this kindergarten. A little five-year-old girl was forbidden to wear her favorite dress simply because the teacher found it inappropriate.
Clothing at kindergarten
In kindergartens or schools there are many cases where parents were warned about how their children dress.
They did not meet the standard; according to teachers, their clothing was inappropriate and drew unnecessary attention.
Proper attire
In most cases these rules are set by the schools themselves and the school’s founders. In some foreign schools this is simply handled by a uniform.
In many cases, short shorts or low necklines are banned by teachers. Of course, these rules are always more often aimed at girls.
Harmony’s story
The story of little Emily, however, is more outrageous, and not just because of the absurdity, but mainly because of the age of little Harmony.
“The picture on the left shows what my daughter came to kindergarten in today, and the picture on the right shows what I picked her up in.”
She is in kindergarten, she is only 5 years old!
The mother wrote on social media.
Mother’s reaction
In another video Emily says that she wrote an email to her daughter’s teacher. She asked her why her daughter had been changed after she arrived at the preschool.
The teacher explained that her dress hung too low (so it had a large neckline) and therefore the teacher decided to change the girl. She also mentioned the rules that have existed in the preschool since 1996.
She also mentioned the definition of “appropriate clothing”, which states that children should not come to kindergarten dressed in a way that is exposing, so as not to disrupt the educational process. When Emily picked her daughter up from kindergarten, she asked her how she felt.
Little Harmony is upset because she really liked wearing the outfit and wanted to show her favorite dress to her classmates.
“I don’t know why they told me I can’t wear this outfit. It was very embarrassing,” said Harmony.
The preschool institution, of course, decided to make minor changes to the preschool’s policy.
“I’m glad to see all the changes the school board is making,” Emily finally wrote.
