Everything changed when Angela knocked on his door. He hadn’t spoken to his cousin for several years and remembered her as a small baby. Now all her troubles fell on him.
Angela was pregnant
17-year-old Angela was pregnant. A few years earlier she had gotten involved with the wrong crowd and nearly became addicted to drugs.
Her unhappy family, believing she had fallen back into it, kicked her out of the house.
Her pregnancy was already nearing its end and she had no means of support. She remembered her cousin Tommy, visited him, but did not expect anything.

After learning about the situation things began to happen. Tommy adopted his cousin and thus became a father and at the same time a grandfather.
He found several jobs to be able to provide for the new family and to make sure the new baby had everything it needed
This story reached the public. Tommy does not consider himself a hero, but he knew that if he had thrown Angela out onto the street, she would probably have died along with the child. He did not want to condemn two people to death!
