Specialists among psychologists can recognize much of who we are just by the language of our body. The same applies to the way we sit; it also tells a lot about us. Find the position you sit in most often and check whether the given description matches your nature. You will see that more can be read from the way you sit than you ever imagined.

Leg over leg means a dreamer, turned-out heels a great communicator

If you sit with your knees together but your ankles apart and your heels turned outward, you probably communicate very easily with others and follow the idea that problems will solve themselves. Sometimes you may seem childish, but certainly not boring. You are trustworthy and back up your results with concrete facts.
If you sit with your leg over your leg, you likely belong among dreamers. You are creative, fun, and those around you are never bored with you. But beware, this way of sitting can cause:

  • X-shaped legs,
  • shortened tendons,
  • back and joint pain.

Wide knees want comfort, pressed-together legs require punctuality

If when sitting you have your knees apart but your ankles together, you know well what comfort means. You spend a lot of time searching for efficiency and perfection. Choosing the perfect perfume or face cream is difficult for you; you feel that a perfect product does not exist for you, so you spend a lot of time selecting. Your approach is complicated because you are very picky about different options. Other people define you as chaotic, but that’s not true, because you know exactly where each of your things has its permanent place. People who sit with knees and ankles together cannot stand people who are not punctual. They are sensitive, intelligent and prefer mild, calm solutions over conflicts or quarrels. They are also straightforward, open and perhaps a little cheeky.
So, what do you say, did you find yourself in any of these four characteristics?
