What if you could get rid of dead bacteria, undigested food residues, chemicals, antibiotics, pesticides, fluoride, chlorine, parasites, heavy metals and the fat that holds all these toxins in your body?
And all of this with a simple recipe that only needs to be eaten for 3 days.
If indeed most diseases begin in the gut, as Hippocrates once told us, then it is possible to cure them when you heal your gut.
Poor digestion as the cause of most diseases
If you have persistent digestive problems such as constipation, the leaky gut syndrome caused by microscopic holes in the mucosa, or if you suffer from bloating and digestive disorders, this is usually just the beginning.
If you have experienced the above difficulties, they are warning signs that your gut is not healthy!
The toxins in your gut, however, also cause damage to the rest of your body. If the body cannot eliminate them quickly enough, it has no choice but to reabsorb them into the bloodstream. Doctors call this “reabsorption”.
That then leads to fatigue, strange tastes in the mouth, weight gain, bloating, skin rashes, joint pain, poor memory and possibly chronic intestinal inflammation, which may subsequently lead to more serious illnesses such as depression or cancer.
From an Ayurvedic perspective, if you have a weak Agni — the Sanskrit word describing your digestive fire, which is linked to the cycles of the sun — then you will never truly enjoy excellent health.
The intestinal nervous system, sometimes called the body’s second brain, cannot communicate properly with the rest of the nervous system when it is drowning in toxins.
Many do not realize that our intestines have as many nerve cells as the entire spine. However, they cannot function properly if we do not take care of our gut microflora.
Like the brain, the gut sends and receives signals via nerve impulses that constantly convey every experience, including our emotions.
You can easily imagine what happens when the enteric nervous system is clogged with past waste. Or even last year’s!
It then can no longer send the correct signals, or figuratively speaking, it begins to say: “Hey, we’re suffocating here!”
How to tell if your bowels are clogged
If you are not sure whether your enteric nervous system is functioning properly, ask yourself:
1. Do you often experience gas, especially after eating?
2. Do you feel clumsy and slow?
3. Is your tongue covered with a thick, whitish coating?
4. Does it take you a while in the morning to really wake up and be ready to get out of bed?
5. Do you frequently suffer from colds or viral or bacterial infections?
6. Do you feel lazy and unmotivated, as if your goals and ambitions are not worth much?
7. If you answered yes to any of these points, it is likely that you will need to do a home colon cleanse.
Causes of slow transit of food through the intestines
Slow bowels can be caused by a diet poor in nutrients, certain medications such as antibiotics that destroy healthy gut flora, as well as insufficient hydration, lack of exercise and other factors.
Natural treatment for osteoarthritis
These facts cause the accumulation of toxins in the body and the fats that usually bind these toxins also begin to accumulate.
With every kilo you lose through better diet, adequate sleep and exercise, you also get rid of a number of toxic substances that are stored in that fat.
If you think you are not exposed to toxins and do not have them accumulated in your body, consider the following. Even a newborn has on average 287 chemicals in the umbilical cord, of which 217 are neurotoxic (poisonous to nerves or nerve cells).
Do you think it is possible that some of these toxins have been stuck in your gut since birth? If you have healthy intestines, they should start working a few hours after a meal.
If not, you will begin to gain weight, feel fatigued and have mental problems.
Fortunately, the following recipe for making a homemade cleansing salad will help cleanse your intestines of food residues, toxic substances and provide you with plenty of fiber.
It will also help balance your body’s pH. These are all important steps in restoring the health of your intestines.
It is enough to eat this salad for 3 consecutive days for dinner (or more often if you can endure it) and you will be shocked at what comes out of you. The results are truly amazing!
Recipe for homemade cleansing salad
To prepare this salad you will need the following ingredients:
- organic cabbage
- organic beetroot
- organic carrot
- lemon juice
- organic olive oil
- herbs
Note: If you cannot find organic fruit and vegetables, you can use conventional ones, but try to wash them well of pesticide residues in lukewarm vinegar water.
Procedure
1. Grate 2 small heads of cabbage, 1 piece of beetroot and 1 carrot. You can adjust the quantities depending on whether you will eat the salad alone or if other people will join you.
2. Add herbs such as coriander, oregano, clove, parsley or basil. They all have a high nutrient content, but you can add any herbs you like.
3. Mix the vegetables and herbs well and add a little lemon juice. Finally, drizzle the salad with extra virgin olive oil.
Consume the salad for at least 3 days, you can eat it longer. Ideally, it should become a regular part of your diet at least once a week.
Conclusion
This salad will provide you with many minerals and vitamins, as well as other nutrients including fiber and pectin, which are known to help cleanse the intestines.
If you want to continue detoxifying the gut, start taking probiotics.
This will supply beneficial bacteria to your digestive system. And don’t forget — always eat in a calm place and only when you are hungry.
