Ginger
Ginger is an ingredient with a very interesting flavor (it may not be to everyone’s taste) and excellent beneficial effects. It has been used for centuries for various illnesses and conditions, such as colds, arthritis, migraines, high blood pressure, throat inflammation, nausea, and other health problems.
Ginger forms a very important part of this drink because it supports digestion, nutrient absorption, and relieves constipation and bloating by increasing muscular activity in the digestive tract.
Lemon
Citrus fruits are rich in vitamin C, have great antioxidant properties, and provide the body with many enzymes and minerals. It is lemons in particular that are perfect for the body in stimulating digestion, especially if their juice is mixed with warm water; such a solution “regulates stomach acid, supports digestion and alleviates health conditions such as heartburn, bloating,” etc.
Apple
Apples contain a wealth of fiber (a large amount is right in the peel!) which supports a proper and healthy digestive system. There is plenty of soluble fiber in apples and its large amount will help lower blood cholesterol levels, reduce the absorption of carbohydrates from meals, and help stabilize blood sugar levels.
