How do you usually cook pasta? Do you throw it into boiling water and cook it for five to twelve minutes? Yes, that’s a common way to cook pasta. Then in another pot or pan you make a meat sauce and pour it over the pasta. However, there are many other recipes that will show you how to make delicious pasta dishes much more easily. Try our recipe, which is quick, perfectly tasty, and will satisfy any diner.

What is needed

  • pasta 200 grams
  • processed cheese 1 piece or two tablespoons
  • whole milk 500 milliliters
  • oregano, salt, pepper, basil, garlic, or other herbs

Preparation

Heat a little olive oil and put the pasta into it. We recommend Penne, but if you prefer another kind, use that. The pasta is placed into the oil uncooked, that is, hard. You can also use whole-grain pasta or corn pasta. You just need to watch the pasta and, if the milk boils away, add a little more. Whole-grain pasta cooks longer. Fry the pasta in the oil for about two minutes.

Step number two

Prepare the cheese. Either unwrap it from the foil, or take a spoon and scoop two tablespoons of cheese from the tub. If it’s a block, break it into pieces and put it on the pasta. At the same time pour the milk over the pasta, salt it, season it, and cover with a lid for a few minutes. We recommend that you use quality, whole milk warmed to room temperature. Otherwise the milk might curdle. After a few minutes remove the lid, stir, and simmer for several more minutes with the lid on. Once the pasta is soft, you can serve it.

What to serve with the pasta

You can eat the pasta on its own or add sliced strips of roasted chicken sprinkled with grill seasoning. If you don’t want meat, you can choose fresh vegetables as a side – cherry tomatoes or lettuce are best. On the plate you can garnish the pasta with parsley or chives. Such delicious pasta can be served for lunch or for dinner. Enjoy your meal!
