Did you know that, besides the memories of the men you’ve slept with, you carry their DNA with you your whole life?
It seems that you are who you sleep with.
According to a study conducted by scientists from the University of Seattle, women retain and carry with them the DNA of every man they have slept with.
Scientists discovered this after studying the female brain, which apparently is full of surprises.
Female brains contain “male microchimerism”, i.e. the presence of male DNA. The study claims that up to 63% of women carry male DNA. The male DNA is said to live in their brains.
Scientists tried for a long time to figure out where this DNA comes from. At first they logically thought it was the woman’s father’s DNA, but that is not the case.
Where does the male DNA come from?
Scientists eventually found that the source of the male DNA that lives in a woman’s brain is sexual intercourse.
This means that a woman carries in her brain, throughout her life, the DNA of every man she has ever slept with.
However, you must realize that sperm are alive.
That means that once they enter a woman, for example through the mouth, they travel to the nasal passages, behind the eyes and to the inner ear.
There they burrow in, enter the bloodstream and eventually gather in the spine and brain. However, you don’t need to be afraid; it’s nothing scary.
