It seems there is no more versatile product than baking soda.
This cheap ingredient has made household maintenance easier for us for many years
Baking soda can, for example, remove rust and deposits, whiten old clothes, get limescale off your tiles, perfectly clean your sink, and do much more.
To remove rust and limescale deposits on the sink, bathtub, and toilet bowl, use this solution. Mix baking soda with water to form a thicker paste and spread it on the dirty spots. Wait until the mixture dries and remove it with a sponge. Then rinse the surface thoroughly
Process
If you didn’t achieve absolute cleanliness on the first try, repeat the process. We recommend performing this cleaning regularly; then you’ll forget about the unpleasant problem and won’t need expensive cleaning products.
Procedure
To whiten laundry, dissolve 5 tablespoons of baking soda in 5 liters of water, add 2 tablespoons of ammonia and mix well. Soak the clothes in this solution and leave for 4 hours. Then wash everything as usual.
When you mix baking soda with vinegar, you get a great solution for removing dirt from any surface. Simply apply baking soda to the dirty spot, dip a sponge in vinegar and clean thoroughly.
Although the suggested solutions are completely harmless, it is advisable to use disposable gloves to protect the skin of your hands from drying out and to avoid damaging your manicure.
