Accumulation of mucus in the lungs leads to unpleasant breathing problems and great discomfort.

In these cases people most often reach for various medicines or syrups from the pharmacy, which are often not only little effective, but usually quite expensive.

Ingredients
You will need the following ingredients:

  • 1 root of ginger, approximately 8 cm long
  • 1 to 1.5 liters of water
  • coconut oil
  • honey
  • apple cider vinegar

Preparation
Proceed as follows:

1. Take the ginger, peel it, wash it and cut it into small pieces.

2. Then put the pieces of ginger into a pot and pour in approximately 1 to 1.5 liters of water.

3. Bring the water to a boil, reduce the heat, cover with a lid and simmer the ginger for about 15 minutes.

Note: Although cooking does reduce the amount of some beneficial substances, such as vitamins or enzymes.

 

In this recipe, however, it is about obtaining the active substances from ginger (gingerosols), whose availability is improved by cooking.

4. After cooking, let the water cool, then strain it, pour it into a glass container and store it in the refrigerator. It will keep there for up to 48 hours.

Use
Whenever you are troubled by phlegm, prepare such a ginger broth.

Then 3 to 4 times during the day pour about 200 ml from it into a glass, add a teaspoon each of coconut oil, honey and apple cider vinegar and drink it.

The result will be that already within 1 to 2 days the production of mucus in your lungs will decrease, your airways will clear and you will be able to breathe much more easily.
