You will need: 300 g of chestnut flowers (horse chestnut), 3 deciliters of alcohol.
The preparation of the chestnut macerate is very simple. Washed and dried chestnut flowers should be placed in the alcohol, close the container well and let it infuse for 14 – 18 days. Keep the infusion out of sunlight at room temperature. After infusion remove the flowers and you can apply this chestnut extract to limbs or hair. Use chestnut oil 2 – 5 times a day by massaging it into the skin where you are troubled by some health problem – joints, muscles or skin.
Tincture for hypertension
Pour 50 grams of dried chestnut flowers into 500 ml of vodka. Let stand for 3 weeks in a dark place, strain. Drink the tincture 2 times a day, 35 drops before meals.
Tincture for joint pain
Pour 20 grams of dried flowers and fruits into 500 ml of vodka. Rub the tincture into painful areas.
Chestnut flower juice to fight varicose veins
Using a blender, crush 200 – 300 g of fresh chestnut flowers and squeeze out the juice. Take 25 drops in 1 tablespoon of warm water twice a day, 30 minutes before meals. It is worth noting that the composition of popular medicines for varicose veins contains liquid chestnut extract.
