Each of us has our favorite sleeping position that allows us to fall asleep quickly and in which we feel comfortable.
Did you know, however, that there is a strong connection between a person’s preferred sleeping position and their personality? Your sleeping habits can therefore tell a lot about you.
According to the introductory picture, find out what personality traits you have and also what possible stressful situations or health problems may occur for you.
1. Back sleepers
If you prefer to sleep on your back with your arms along your body, it indicates that you are quiet, reserved and take life seriously.
However, this position can cause snoring, which then reduces the quality of sleep.
Generally, however, this position is considered the best for preventing various types of pain.
2. Fetal position
The fetal position is called that because it resembles the position of a fetus in the mother’s womb.
If you sleep in this position with your knees pulled up to your chest, then you are probably shy, sensitive and often worried in life. It appears to be the most common sleeping position among people.
It also suggests that you often overthink things and problems, but at the same time you are warm-hearted, conscientious and organized.
3. Stomach position
If you sleep on your stomach with your arms under you or under the pillow, then you are daring, slightly nervous and too sensitive to criticism.
From a health standpoint, this position can increase back and neck pain, so a firm mattress is recommended when using it.
To prevent the development of these pains, you should also use as thin a pillow as possible.
4. Pillow hugger
If you sleep hugging a pillow, then you are a person who values interpersonal relationships.
You enjoy bringing happiness to others, people can trust and rely on you, you are loyal and sometimes perhaps too open with others.
From a health point of view, this sleeping position has almost no significant risks.
