Clogged sewer piping is a common problem that usually occurs in households where the drain pipes and heating systems are still from earlier times.
A clogged drain accompanied by odor
An elderly woman had this problem, which was accompanied by an unpleasant smell and a clogged toilet. She preferred life in the countryside and decided to rent out her apartment for little money to students.
One day she returned to her cottage and was very surprised, because she no longer smelled any odor from the drain in the toilet. She wondered how that was possible?
What you need:
- 250g of baking soda
- 100g of white distilled vinegar
- 2.5 liters of hot water
- 1 large old rag
How to unclog a toilet?
Heat the vinegar in a small pot and bring it to a boil.
Pour the baking soda into the drain and then pour the vinegar into it.
Immediately afterwards, push an old rag wrapped around a broom into the drain. The combination of vinegar and baking soda will trigger a chemical reaction that will help clean your clogged pipes.
Let the vinegar and baking soda mixture sit for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, boil 2.5 liters of water, which you will slowly pour into the drain opening.
If it doesn’t work on the first try, repeat the procedure once more.
