Quick, simple and no baking – there may not be many such cakes. Today’s one is among them; it is delicious and light. In total its preparation will take about twenty minutes. You will, however, have to wait for it to set in the refrigerator, but the wait is worth it.
Traditional cakes are difficult to prepare
This cake will taste just as great as traditional cakes that are difficult to make. As a base you can use various cookies, gingerbreads or crackers. There are no limits to your imagination. By combining these products with sour cream, cottage cheese, whipped cream or yogurt you can create a culinary masterpiece that everyone will enjoy and that will become the centerpiece of afternoon tea.
For the preparation you will need:
- 300 g cookies with cocoa
- 250 g cottage cheese
- 250 g sour cream
- 100 g sugar
- 1 tablespoon gelatin
- 75 ml water
- Chocolate for decoration
First pour the gelatin into a pot, add the water and let it stand for a few minutes. Pour the mixture into a pot that can go on the stove and heat until the gelatin dissolves. Meanwhile mix the sour cream with the sugar and cottage cheese in a blender. You must create a smooth cream. Then add the gelatin and mix everything together.
Start layering the cake into the pan
First place the first layer of cookies and pour the cream over it. Add another layer and the cream again. This way you will create three layers. If you are expecting a large visit, of course you can increase the amount of ingredients as needed or make more cakes. Finally cover the cake and let it soak overnight.
Once the cream has been absorbed into the cookies, you can serve the cake. A cake made from cookies joined with cottage cheese and sour cream is juicy. On top it can be decorated not only with grated chocolate but also with a favorite type of fruit. You can darken the cream by adding cocoa and instead of cocoa cookies use light butter ones. Each time you can create a unique cake, and if you get creative with it, it can also be served as a birthday cake.
