Sometimes you can find yourself in a situation where you feel it is real despair, but that is certainly not as bad as when people learn of an insidious disease that allows them to enjoy life for only a few days and therefore they must admit that they will be gone soon.
Serious illness
It is such an unimaginable situation for many people, even in the life of a young Slovak woman whose doctors told her a truly very cruel message and that she has only a few days left of her life.
The woman decided to speak about the practice of doctors in Slovakia. Her shocking words surprised many people and they decided to share them. If you agree with them, don’t hesitate and share this article so as many people as possible can read it.
The story of the sick woman
The woman published her story in the group „Don’t Feed Us Trash“ on Facebook, which tries to educate about problematic areas of public health in Slovakia.
The diagnosis forced the young woman to stay in the oncology ward, where she experienced a lot of frustration and disappointment from the doctors. According to her, the doctors will take her life, not the insidious disease.
The woman also says that we should value our lives and immediately, when there is just a small problem with our health, we should look for a quality doctor, but not in Slovakia, rather preferably abroad. The sick woman’s post

I am a patient of the oncology clinic named after Elizabeth on Heydukova Street in Bratislava. More than two years ago I came here with a small lump in the breast area. Instead of an immediate surgical procedure I was prescribed several months of chemotherapy. The aim was to shrink the tumor that was in my body.
After the biopsy the tumor doubled. The doctors photographed it, but postponed the surgery. Several months passed and finally the entire breast was surgically removed, as well as the lymph nodes. However, a so-called nodule appeared in the lungs on the CT.
Then more chemotherapy. I was again without hair, etc. But when I completed the follow-up CT scan, I found out that I already had light metastases.
Chemotherapy
The selected chemotherapy did not match my tumor type. They told me, don’t google yourself. Trust the doctors. But then I couldn’t stand doing nothing anymore. After 5 minutes I found out that chemotherapy could never be successful.
The biopsy showed that it was necessary to immediately use the more expensive, so-called biological treatment. However, they only did that after two years of my being in oncology. After two doses in combination with chemotherapy, however, I had very unpleasant side effects.
I literally peeled the skin off my hands and feet. I couldn’t even stand on my feet. I asked my boyfriend to go to my doctor, and he agreed with him that they would stop giving me the treatment until my hands and feet healed.
When I finally made the trip to Heydukova, my doctor told me that I no longer had the right to be treated with biological therapy because I had willfully interrupted it. My assertions did not convince the doctor.
He just said: “It’s simply over, we can only give you palliative care now. So it’s all over.”
Warning from the sick woman
Death is already knocking at my door and therefore I decided to warn you and tell you not to trust doctors in Slovakia.
Discuss every opinion with other doctors who will give you their professional opinion. Do not hesitate to join discussions with other patients like you, for example from Austria or other countries.
Begin your treatment in a country where doctors devote attention to their patients. Where you are not treated as just an unnecessary object.
