Each of us would like to have a perfect smile with beautiful white teeth. They are often considered a kind of calling card that leaves a good impression of us on others.
That’s why many are willing to spend a lot of money at the dentist for various procedures aimed at cleaning and whitening teeth.
If you also want to have a smile like celebrities that will, figuratively speaking, open doors everywhere for you, the first step is good dental care and following the principles of dental hygiene.
However, if in the meantime you have neglected dental care, or coffee, smoking, or other bad habits have left a yellowish tint on your teeth, then we have one tip for you on how to quickly fix it.
And you won’t even have to run to the dentist and pay tens of euros for teeth whitening.
To prepare the whitening paste you will need only two common ingredients that can be very easily found in any grocery store – lemon and baking soda .
Making the paste
To make the paste, proceed as follows:
1. Take a glass or ceramic bowl and add one teaspoon of baking soda to it.
2. Cut the lemon in half.
3. Squeeze out one tablespoon of fresh lemon juice.
4. Pour the lemon juice into the bowl with the soda and mix the two ingredients well (during mixing the mixture may start to foam slightly).
You will probably make more paste than you need this way. Maybe even half the amount, or less, would be sufficient, but it would be harder for you to mix.
If you don’t want to waste ingredients, you can freely use only half the amount of both ingredients.
Application and teeth whitening procedure
Perform the whitening of your teeth according to the steps below:
1. After obtaining the paste take a regular toothbrush and put some of the prepared paste on it. Not as much as you use of regular toothpaste, but only on about a quarter of the bristle area.
2. If the consistency of the paste is too runny, then simply dip the brush into it a few short times while cleaning your teeth.
3. Then brush your teeth thoroughly in the usual way. However no longer than the mentioned two minutes.
4. Finally rinse your mouth well with water.
Both components have a strong effect on tooth enamel, so it is necessary to limit the amount of paste applied and the time it is left on.
This should not exceed the mentioned 2 minutes. Otherwise, you could risk damaging your tooth enamel. Brush your teeth gently; do not press too hard with the toothbrush.
Conclusion
After finishing cleaning, look in the mirror and notice how much your teeth have whitened.
Remember that you should not do this procedure too often so as not to damage your tooth enamel. Once a month should be completely sufficient.
