This new recipe is as tasty as condensed pudding with milk, but it contains far fewer calories precisely because it is milk-free. It is therefore healthier and suitable for more frequent preparation. In the recipe you will first find the method for preparing the basic recipe, and in the other recipes you will find ideas for different kinds of these puddings. Condensed pudding without milk does not have to be vegan, but there are vegan variants. In this article everyone will surely choose their own. Pudding is a very tasty dessert with caramel or without it, which is a great addition to family lunches and other gatherings. It fits as the dessert of any lunch and is popular in all age groups.

Recipe for the basic pudding

For the basic pudding prepare all the necessary ingredients. You will need 1 liter of milk, 10 tablespoons of sugar, 6 eggs and 1 tablespoon of corn starch. Once you have everything ready, put all these ingredients into a blender and start blending. Blend at high speed for 5 minutes. Pour this mixture into a pudding mold that has already been brushed with caramel. Take a bowl that is ovenproof and pour hot water into it. Place the pudding into it just as you would melt chocolate in a hot bath. Place the pudding in the hot water bath into an oven preheated to 225 °C. Bake the pudding for approximately 40 minutes. When it no longer sticks to a toothpick, you can take it out of the oven. Before serving chill for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.

Pudding with milk powder

For the pudding with milk powder you will need 3 eggs, 500 milliliters of water, 1 ½ cup of sugar and 2 cups of powdered milk. For the syrup you will need 2 cups of sugar and one cup of water. The preparation method for this pudding is the same as for the basic pudding. Except for the syrup ingredients, mix everything together and continue according to the instructions above, including the same baking conditions. You will only be preparing your own syrup. You will achieve caramel syrup by boiling sugar with water, the caramelization process will begin and you only control the thickness and color of the caramel. Don’t forget that it must go into the mold first.

Vegan pudding

You can bake the pudding just as well without eggs and without milk. For the preparation of this pudding prepare 100 milliliters of water, 90 grams of sugar, 120 grams of any dried plant-based milk, 400 grams of soy milk cream, 300 grams of any plant-based milk, 1 teaspoon of thickener and 120 grams of sugar for the syrup together with a little water. If you don’t have a plant-based thickener, you can just as well use potato starch. The base of the recipe is the same as for the previous two. Blend all the basic ingredients with a mixer, pour into the mold with the syrup and put into the oven. Then again just make the caramel on the stove and pour it into the pudding mold first.  Bake in a water bath according to the rules of the basic pudding.
