The preparation of this lunch won’t take you long, and you have most of the ingredients at home. You can also use lower-quality meat that might not be suitable for roasting or as a slice. You will need:
- 600 g of ground pork, preferably shoulder
- 1 onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1.5 dl breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons of sour cream
- 2 teaspoons of paprika (if desired, you can use hot paprika)
- 1 egg
- 1 package of sliced cheese
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- Salt, pepper, Vegeta for seasoning;
Preparation and method
We begin by breaking up the meat with our hands in a bowl. Add finely chopped onion, crushed garlic, the egg, and the sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and you can also add Vegeta. Work the mixture thoroughly by hand so that it becomes compact. It will be easier to work with. This will take a few minutes.
And now for the finale
Now take a piece of the meat mixture and make a ball out of it. Then flatten it so that a patty of even thickness is formed. Place a slice of cheese on it. Now take another piece of the mixture and cover the cheese with it so that a steak is formed and the cheese doesn’t leak out anywhere. Coat the patty in breadcrumbs, place it into hot oil and fry on both sides until golden brown. Place paper towels on a bowl or a larger plate, and put the fried steaks on them. The point is that the towels will absorb excess grease. You can also place a towel on top.
What to serve the patties with
As a side dish, gratinated cauliflower is suitable. For some people it can be boiled potatoes, but mashed potatoes are better. Some like vegetables, and so won’t turn down a vegetable salad or a pickled cucumber. Once you’ve tried the recipe, pass it on to friends and acquaintances.
