The truth about pesticides
Pesticides are substances used to destroy insects and other pests that farmers often use when spraying plants.
Although it is a well-intentioned effort to protect plants from damage, in reality they cause more harm than good.
Many pesticides can cause cancer, birth defects or learning difficulties in children.
They are also associated with neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s disease, because they damage nerve cells.
Simple solution
To protect yourself and your loved ones from the harmful effects of pesticides, consider buying organic fruits and vegetables. They are a bit more expensive, but you shouldn’t skimp on health.
The good news is that organic foods are much more available today and not as expensive as they used to be.
Organic foods are grown more gently, in accordance with traditional growing practices, they are not sprayed with pesticides or other chemicals and are fertilized with natural fertilizers and compost.
Research shows that consuming organic foods supplies the body with much higher amounts of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
