How the hair mask works
Let’s now look at the individual ingredients and their effects on your hair and scalp.
Bananas are rich in potassium and vitamins E, C and A, substances important for the growth of strong and healthy hair.
Eggs are a rich source of protein (hair is made of protein). Proteins are mainly necessary to make the hair thick and long. They also have the ability to restore the hair’s suppleness and shine.
Because of its fermentation, beer is a rich source of B vitamins that strengthen and nourish the hair roots.
Honey attracts and retains moisture in the hair and also helps to soften and smooth it. Honey is also a plentiful source of vitamins and minerals that nourish the scalp. Honey can lighten your hair over time, but at a frequency of only once a week you will likely not notice any change.
