For healthy people who do not suffer from digestive tract, liver and pancreatic problems, this fat will only be beneficial. The daily dose of fresh bacon for a healthy person ranges between 10-30g per day.

Bacon – a very heavy food

The opposite is true: in healthy people it does not cause digestive problems. Bacon is incredibly beneficial for the body because it melts according to our body’s temperature. It is not suitable for people who suffer from issues with bile production.

Who says that’s bad? Subcutaneous fat has a unique structure that is rich in rare arachidonic acids. This substance is essential for our body because it is part of our immune system and is also necessary in cholesterol metabolism.

Like other animal products, bacon also contains cholesterol. Its amount is not as enormous as you might think. In 100g of fresh bacon there are 70-100mg of cholesterol. For comparison – 100g of beef kidneys contains 1126mg of cholesterol.
