Recipe for ginger water
To maximally benefit from the healing effects of ginger, you need to learn how to use it properly.
Besides teas or tinctures, a very suitable and at the same time simple way of consumption is in the form of ginger water.
Ingredients
For the preparation of ginger water you will need the following ingredients:
- 3 to 5 cm piece of ginger (depending on how strong you prefer the drink)
- 1 liter of water
- 1 lemon
- honey
Preparation
1. Finely grate the ginger.
2. Place it into a jug or glass container and pour water over it.
3. Squeeze the juice of one lemon into the water.
4. Add honey (choose the amount according to your taste) and stir.
Use
Drink the beverage throughout the day instead of regular water. The recommended total amount of fluids is 2 liters per day, so in addition to this ginger water drink plain water as well.
Prepare the drink fresh each day.
You can keep it in the refrigerator, but before drinking let it stand in a glass for at least 15 minutes, because lukewarm, not cold, water is more suitable for your body.
