This nettle cure was practiced even by my grandmother; she was the one who taught me that nettle is a real medicine and not a weed. Every spring I do this cleansing cure, you will be surprised how refreshing and excellent it is. Besides that, it flushes all the bad stuff out of the body.
Detoxifies, cleanses, fights swelling and can even stimulate the metabolism.
It is completely free and therefore the simplest way to help your health. However, do not overdo the cure; I recommend doing it 2x a week and sipping it little by little. Then take a 2-week break and continue again. It also applies in this case that you should not overdo this cure and a healthy measure is fundamental. My general practitioner warmly recommended this cure to me after a consultation.

How to prepare the cure + usage
- Gather shoots of young nettles – about 10 centimetres long.
- Rinse, put into a bottle (I used a 2-liter bottle, fill to the top) or a jug and pour cold water over.
- Let stand in the refrigerator for 1 – 2 days.
- Then strain into a pitcher. It is wonderfully refreshing.
- You can fill with water once more and leave it a day in the cold.
- Pour off and then replace the nettles.
- From the contents of this 2 l bottle there is a little more than 1 l of liquid.
When one person makes it for themselves, it is good to do it about 2x a week. Then take a two-week break. It is known that even tea should not be drunk often because it thins the blood. Nettle is extracted in cold water, so that is why a break is recommended.
