If you read newspapers or watch television news, then you certainly haven’t missed the latest initiative of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic.

They decided that unvaccinated children will be denied the possibility of attending kindergarten from 2020. In September 2019 the bill was already submitted to parliament. This is truly an unprecedented and inhumane decision.

Today we want to bring you the story of little Tobiášek, who underwent the mandatory vaccination exactly as required of him, or rather his parents, by law.

Well unfortunately, he paid dearly for it.

What happened to little Tobiášek and how the state reacted
After the mandatory vaccination a severe neurological disease developed in Tobiášek, which caused developmental regression and a large number of other health complications.

Today little Tobiášek, like all other children, would really love to go to kindergarten, but he cannot. His health condition simply does not allow it.

Now as a family they are left on their own. They literally have to beg good people for help by organizing a fundraiser for their son harmed by vaccination.

The parents of little Tobiášek did everything as they should. They did not hesitate. They submitted to the state’s orders; they underwent the mandatory vaccination. And how did the state reward them for that?

It completely abandoned them.

What happens if you or your loved ones, under the threat of being denied kindergarten, submit to mandatory vaccination and your child becomes seriously ill as a result?

The exact same thing will happen to you as to Tobiášek. The state, the ministry and Minister Kalavská will completely disregard you.

Sorry, but this system makes me sick. Everywhere only threats, menaces, orders, decrees. But if something happens, everyone washes their hands of it. Suddenly no one wants to have anything to do with it. No responsibility, no compensation, no help.

Let us now take a closer look at what actually happened to little Tobiášek. Here follows his story as presented on the page ludialudom.sk.

Tobiášek’s story: A little fighter determined to win his battle

Tobiášek was born on 14.8.2017 after an uneventful pregnancy. A little boy came into the world who, at five months old, was faced with a struggle that he is heroically managing and does not give up.

Until his fifth month of life he was a cheerful, smiling baby, making progress and taking an interest in the surrounding world just like his peers.

After the second mandatory vaccination everything changed. As the days passed after the vaccination in mid-January 2018, Tobiášek gradually stopped responding to our voices, did not look at us, was no longer interested in toys, stopped rolling over, babbling, smiling and lay sadly staring off somewhere …

Later he developed nonspecific body twitches and after a visit to a neurologist and subsequent hospitalization he was diagnosed with a serious form of epilepsy and a related developmental regression, halted psychomotor development and, as a consequence of the epileptic seizures, eye damage, atrophy of the optic nerve.

After the demanding hormonal treatment we brought home from the hospital a little boy who, due to the epileptic seizures and the medication, no longer resembled himself either mentally or physically.

But even in this loss our little Tobiášek showed us that he wants to fight, that he will not give up, and thus he gave strength to all of us around him.

After his health condition stabilized we began rehabilitating Tobiášek, and after just a few therapies the first progress was visible .. a small short smile, reaching his little hand for a toy in the stroller … For us that meant an incredible step forward; it gave us hope that Tobiášek will manage it all.

Tobiášek is now already a 1.5-year-old little boy, but mentally and motor-wise at the level of a small infant. He is monitored in several specialized clinics.

We are constantly seeking new treatment options, go for examinations abroad, consult his health condition with specialists, do a lot of rehabilitation, exercise, undergo many therapies and it is clear that the effort makes sense, because Tobiášek is slowly progressing, does not give up and keeps fighting.

All of us around him believe that our little fighter will sooner or later catch up on everything, that he will start playing with toys, that one day he will sit up by himself, will crawl and someday run toward us on his own feet with a smile on his face and say mama, daddy, anything …

Rehabilitation, intensive rehabilitation stays in specialized centers, examinations, therapies, swimming courses, horse therapy, medications, dietary supplements, medical devices, aids and toys supporting development and stimulating vision are, however, financially extremely demanding and not covered by health insurance.

I returned to work at least part-time because I am the breadwinner for the family. Tobiášek’s father is himself in a difficult life situation …

Unfortunately, without financial help it is very difficult for us to provide him with the special care he would need. Family, friends and good people help us a lot. We try to do the impossible for him …

Tobiášek has a great chance to win his fight. We realize that now is the most suitable time to catch up on what was lost, to repair what was damaged, because the brain is still developing, is plastic and can reprogram damaged patterns, find new pathways, you just have to show him daily and correctly how and drill it.

How can this be managed? You probably know the answer; you have already read so many similar stories …

Yes, it is very hard. No one will give you instructions on how to process this, how to deal with it. It probably isn’t even possible. The important thing is not to look back, not to look for culprits, but to look forward and not give up, to believe and work hard.

The knowledge that Tobiášek has a chance to recover and being in a situation where you cannot provide it because you don’t have the necessary money is disarming. But we will not give up; we will continue to fight as long as we can.

We would therefore kindly ask all of you for help on Tobiášek’s journey to victory. We would very much like to collect funds for him for dolphin-assisted therapy and the associated comprehensive rehabilitation program.

Every single euro you donate means hope for our little boy, it is a wind in the sails that drives him forward toward the goal.

And we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for that!
