In our retail chains you can buy a whole range of Polish products. But you should really be careful with some of them, as they can be harmful to health. Recently there have been several types of food originating from the Polish manufacturing industry that are not always safe and whose quality is not particularly suitable for our bodies. The ministry itself warns us about a number of products, because they should never have reached our kitchens. Which products these are and what is wrong with them you can read below in the article. In particular, these are meat products and cheeses, but on this list you will also find cookies or even ketchup.

Pilos: sour cream

Products under the Pilos brand are produced mainly for the Lidl retail chain. You won’t buy them elsewhere. However, if you are one of the people who like to shop at Lidl, you should be alert about this sour cream. This cream is not harmful to health and you can consume it without worry, but its quality is not as stated. This sour cream should have 18%; after purchase and testing it was found that the cream contains only 16%. Otherwise it is completely harmless—if you have it at home, consume it calmly.

Pikok: gourmet sausages

These sausages are very tasty and should be made from quality meat. Some people, especially those who don’t salt much, may find them unnecessarily too salty. The meat content in these sausages is fine, but the salt is not quite as it should be. If the sausages seemed too salty to you, you are right that there is more salt there than there should be.

Bluedino: Gouda cheese and Edam cheese

The Bluedino Gouda also had a problem with its composition. As with the above-mentioned gourmet sausages, the problem was a higher salt content in the cheese than was stated on the package. An excessive amount of salt, of course, affects the taste of the cheese, but among other things also health, because we all know that too much salt in the body is unhealthy. The Edam cheese from this producer also failed the test. This time the problem was not the amount of salt, but the amount of dry matter in the cheese, which was again lower than it should have been.

Furthermore, you should be careful about Kclassic ketchup, which is specialized for the Kaufland retail chain, as well as Tesco Wafers biscuits. For neither of these products was the quality of the goods satisfactory. They are not foods that could harm your health, but you are certainly not buying these foods in the quality you think.
