It is difficult for a person to start doing any more meaningful physical work if they suffer from rheumatic joint pain.
In some people these types of pains appear only after a full day’s work and go away on their own after sufficient rest.
But what to do if the pains do not subside and conventional treatment from a doctor either does not work sufficiently or has too many side effects?
This article will offer you instructions for a quick home bath and a few other useful tips.
What is rheumatism and how to deal with it?
Rheumatism, or medically arthritis, is an inflammation of the joints. There are many types of arthritis that can affect any part of the body – from the neck to the tips of the toes.
Many people suffering from joint pain claim that they cannot rely solely on modern medicine, because it is not sufficiently effective for this kind of condition.
The best thing you can do for rheumatism is to make a few changes to your lifestyle, especially regarding your diet.
If despite your best efforts you fail to get rid of the pain and are therefore looking for some other effective solution, a bath with apple cider vinegar may be one option.
How to prepare a bath for joint pain
To make the bath use 6 glasses (that is about 1.2 liters) of warm water and 2 dcl (200 ml) of apple cider vinegar.
Mix everything well and then soak your hands or feet in it. Let them relax there for some time, usually about 10 to 15 minutes.
This method relieves pain superficially, so repeat it whenever you begin to feel it again.
If your neck or another area of your body hurts, soak a towel in this solution and apply it to the painful spot.
More tips for rheumatism
Another excellent method for rheumatic pain is a combination of apple cider vinegar and olive or coconut oil.
Procedure for making the oil mixture
Mix 2 parts apple cider vinegar with 1 part coconut or olive oil. Mix it well and apply the mixture to the affected areas. Leave it on for some time.
If you do this regularly, over time the frequency and intensity of your pains will decrease.
Another option is drinking apple cider vinegar.
Procedure for drinking apple cider vinegar
Pour 1 to 3 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar into 2.5 dcl (250 ml) of water or any juice.
For the purpose of relieving joint pain, cherry juice is most recommended because it has its own effects on the joints. When combined with the vinegar, a synergistic effect occurs.
Drink it 1 to 2 times a day, until the rheumatic pains begin to disappear.
To enhance the effect, a little of the prepared mixture can also be applied directly to the joints.
Conclusion
Apple cider vinegar is very helpful for aching joints, but that is not its only beneficial effect on health. In addition, it acts in the body as an antioxidant and helps remove toxins.
We wrote about it in more detail in one of our previous articles about how apple cider vinegar can literally change your life.
Everyone should therefore consider whether to include it in their daily diet because of its many different health benefits.
