The brain suffers when we have a poor breakfast (or didn’t have time), when you travel and talk on the phone at the same time, when you smoke, drink and are constantly in stressful situations.

We constantly strain it, but give it nothing in return

“Your brain needs clean, healthy, low-fat food. But don’t give up sweets – at least allow yourself honey. The brain likes chocolate, needs water, but above all loves a smile,” says Vlad Siurea, who has worked for more than 50 years as a neurosurgeon.

The professor and experienced doctor has been the director of an emergency hospital in Romania for 10 years. The neurosurgeon has performed nearly  23,000 brain operations  . The youngest patient was only two days old.

Few people know how to protect and strengthen it

“If you are on a tablet/phone – constantly every day, don’t expect your brain to thank you. Now people communicate only through Facebook and other social networks. That’s bad. We were created to live in a group, not in isolation,” the man continued.

The first steps for a healthy brain are very simple and available to everyone. If you want to do it, then when you get up, do at least a basic exercise, drink two glasses of water at room temperature.

“In the morning we must wake up as soon as possible, open the windows and breathe fresh air. And don’t forget the two glasses of water.

The first starts the work of the entire gastrointestinal tract. The second glass is useful because it drives the whole “locomotive”. Simply put, it helps us wake up,” says the neurosurgeon.

During sleep the brain doesn’t sleep, it works hard to support the internal organs.

If a person falls asleep with a difficult question in their head and doesn’t know how to solve it, the next morning they will have an answer.

“The next day you’ll find a solution. Thus the brain created a connection between thought, judgement, memory and in the morning – it will give us an idea. So forget about sleepless nights,” said the professor.

The brain doesn’t like fats, tobacco and alcohol, but loves dark chocolate

Your breakfasts should be calm and slow. Don’t eat breakfast in a hurry or on the way. “You need to have breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy every bite. No worries, no noise.

In the morning you need energy and trace elements that will help the body effectively perform its functions during the day. This is very important! ” – emphasizes Vlad Siurea.

The brain doesn’t like fats and meat

The neurosurgeon also says that if you eat meat, don’t skimp on it – buy only quality.

“Yes, meat is not beneficial for the brain. In small amounts, however, meat helps the body. The best is low-calorie meat.

The brain doesn’t like fats, it doesn’t like salt. Once or twice a year it’s possible. But don’t eat that kind of food regularly,” says the doctor.

And what about sweets? Not all of them are beneficial, especially if they contain a lot of sugar

“Dark natural chocolate, warm natural cocoa, honey – that’s what your brain likes the most,” explains the neurosurgeon.

The brain has two peaks of maximal activity: between 10:00-12:00 and 16:00-18:00. If it gets tired, you can give it some coffee (but drink it slowly). “

– Lunch should be balanced. You don’t have to stuff your stomach – know moderation. Besides, prefer plain water rather than juices.

The brain’s best friend – a smile!

The doctor says that the brain’s best friend is the usual  smile available to all people   Therefore it is very important that we are able to pull ourselves out of sadness and be able to rejoice in small things.

Memory needs to be trained

Forgetfulness appears not only in adults, but even at a relatively young age. To prevent Alzheimer’s disease, you must train your memory.

“Train your brain, communicate, be open – all of this is very important. Walking, traveling, learning new things, watching films and television programs that are not only interesting but can also teach you something, solving crosswords and puzzles. Movement is also important for the brain. If we move, we will exist. Three important things: speech, writing, movement. Many have forgotten what music is and how to enjoy it and even worse don’t want to dance. Dancing, as has been shown, prevents the earlier development of Alzheimer’s disease.

Good sleep should last at least six hours. It cleans the brain of debris.

Go to bed at 22:00, turn off the TV and computer an hour or even two before sleep. Instead, read a book. It will prepare you for a good rest. “

If you follow these tips, you will feel incredible changes!

There is nothing difficult about these recommendations! The most important thing is to take them seriously and start
