Do you also like a large and abundant tomato harvest? If you want to preserve these fruits for longer than a few days after harvest while fresh, or you don’t want to cook them right away, we have a great tip for you. It’s a fairly unconventional tip, but it really works well.
We’ll show you how to store tomatoes in perfect condition
We offer an unusual, yet very simple and effective way to store tomatoes all year round – vacuum freezing! You’ll surely agree that it’s much more useful and easier to take tomatoes from the freezer than to buy “plastic” imitations from the store during winter.
This is how you can freeze whole tomatoes or cut them into pieces
This method doesn’t take up much space in the freezer because the tomato packaging is compact and effective. Even a small freezer can hold several packages.
Take a thick plastic bag (ordinary or special, for freezing) and prepare your tomatoes (of any kind).
Put them in a single row. Take an ordinary plastic straw, remove all the air from the bag and twist it. Done!
