Ingredients
- 700 ml apple cider vinegar
- 0.5 dl peeled and crushed garlic
- 0.5 dl finely chopped onion
- 2 fresh hot peppers (the spicier, the better)
- 0.5 dl grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons grated horseradish
- 2 tablespoons turmeric powder
- a 1-liter glass container (for example a canning jar)
If you want to prepare a smaller amount of the product, for example only 0.5 liters, then use half the doses of all the individual ingredients.
Procedure
Place all the ingredients into the glass container and pour in the apple cider vinegar up to where the neck begins to narrow (a few cm from the top edge).
Stir it all well.
Close the container and place it in a dark, dry place, for example in the pantry.
Let the whole infusion sit for approximately 2 weeks. Occasionally mix the contents — either by swirling the jar or using a spoon.
After 2 weeks strain the contents through gauze, some cloth or a funnel with a strainer. For best results it is advisable to squeeze the remainder through the cloth so that all the juice comes out.
Store the strained liquid again in a sealable glass container.

Usage
As we already mentioned, this is a very strong remedy, so use it sparingly and with caution.
It has a very strong and pungent taste.
Take daily 1 tablespoon (i.e. 3 teaspoons). It’s best to split the daily dose into 3 parts, i.e. 1 teaspoon 3 times a day.
If you want, you can take it straight and then, to soften the taste, eat orange segments. If it is too strong for you, you can dilute it in a glass of water.
In case of acute or severe infections you can increase the dosage to 6 times 2 teaspoons per day.
For prevention and treatment of the chronic conditions mentioned at the beginning (arthritis, gout, high blood pressure, cholesterol and similar) it is sufficient to take 1 teaspoon daily long-term.
If you are allergic to any ingredient in the recipe, are pregnant, or for children, do not use this recipe to be safe, or significantly reduce the dosage.
