The home of this small natural miracle is the continent of Australia, where Indigenous people have been successfully using it to treat many illnesses for millennia.

It contains many substances with regenerative effects on the whole body including the skin, oral cavity, hair and nails.

Let’s now take a closer look at the healing effects offered by the essential (esential) oil from the tea tree, in English tea tree oil.

1. Skin infections and injuries

Tea tree oil possesses powerful antibacterial and antifungal properties that can successfully treat pathogen contamination in various skin injuries.

All you need to do is mix a drop of tea tree oil with another carrier oil (preferably coconut) and drip a few drops of this mixture into the wound. Then cover it with sterile gauze or a bandage.

2. Oral hygiene

Tea tree oil successfully destroys harmful bacteria in the oral cavity, reduces gum bleeding and limits tooth decay.

Drop a few drops of tea tree oil into 1 tablespoon of coconut oil, stir and use this mixture to rinse your mouth for 5 to 10 minutes.

3. Cleaning

The strong antimicrobial properties of this oil can also be used around the home for various cleaning tasks.

Mix it with lemon essential oil (a few drops), vinegar and water and use this mixture to clean sinks, showers, bathroom corners or kitchen utensils.

4. Deodorant

Tea tree oil suppresses the growth of bacteria that break down sweat in the armpits and are responsible for unpleasant body odor.

Simply mix a few drops of this oil with coconut oil and a little baking soda to make your own secret deodorant or antiperspirant.

5. Eczema and psoriasis

Tea tree oil has proven effects in alleviating the symptoms of eczema and psoriasis.

Again take a few drops of tea tree and lavender essential oils, mix them with a tablespoon of coconut oil and regularly apply this mixture to areas of skin affected by eczema or psoriasis.

6. Acne

The exceptional antifungal properties of tea tree oil reduce the load of pathogenic organisms that are responsible for acne and other skin rashes. Mix a few drops of tea tree oil with one tablespoon of olive oil and one tablespoon of honey and apply this mixture to the acne. Gently massage the spot for a few minutes with circular motions, then rinse your skin with lukewarm water.

Repeat the procedure every day until the acne disappears.

7. Toenail fungus

A large number of people today suffer from toenail fungus, sometimes called athlete’s foot. This problem can be excellently solved by tea tree oil.

Mix a few drops of tea tree and oregano essential oils with a tablespoon of coconut oil. Rub the mixture onto the nails and skin of the feet until the fungus is completely healed.

You can also use it as a prevention against its recurrence.

8. Dandruff on the scalp

Tea tree oil is a great remedy for removing dandruff from the scalp.

Mix a few drops of tea tree oil with some coconut oil and fresh aloe vera pulp. Then apply this mixture to your scalp until the dandruff is gone.

9. Mold

If mold tends to form on the walls of your rooms, kitchen or bathroom, you can prevent its appearance with tea tree oil.

Drop a few drops into the water in a spray bottle, add some alcohol (ordinary vodka will do) so the oil dissolves, and spray this mixture on the critical spots.

How to use tea tree oil

Remember that essential oils are very concentrated and therefore are used only in drops. It is best to mix them with another carrier oil.

A carrier oil can be sunflower, olive or coconut oil, which we consider the most suitable because it itself has a number of healing effects.
