Lidl is one of the most popular retail chains in the Czech Republic; it comes from Germany primarily, but it has become very well established here. A few years ago the stores introduced shopping trolleys with hidden functions intended to make shopping easier, especially for older people. Unfortunately, only few shoppers know how to use them.
New feature
Information has appeared on the internet about another feature of Lidl’s shopping carts. The plastic trolleys have two handles, a longer one for pulling the shopping out and a shorter one for carrying by hand. The second handle has another hidden function.
No need to keep bending
Thanks to this, the shopping trolley can be lifted at the checkout and attached to the metal edge of the belt. This allows you to comfortably take items out of the basket without having to keep bending over.
