The State Veterinary Administration of the Czech Republic (ŠVPS SR) warned via its official website about a non-compliant product found on the Slovak market.
Notice of detection of a non-compliant product
As part of a targeted food inspection, RVPS Banská Bystrica collected a sample of chicken breasts at the Butcher and Meat Products Shop, Spojová 19, 974 01 Banská Bystrica (chilled poultry, quality class A, best before: 03.04.2020, production batch 30/03/2020, manufacturer: Firma Handlowo-Produkcyjna “Janas”, Spólka Jawna, ul Ludzmierska 29, 34-400 Nowy Targ, approved vet. establishment number PL 12114302 WE, country of origin Poland).
Microbiological testing of the chicken breast sample detected the presence of Salmonella enterica serovar Enteritidis.
