Today we look at a new way of washing clothes — using balls made from aluminum foil. You should use them if stains often remain on your washed garments. Aluminum foil enhances the effect of the detergent and has an antistatic effect. The only thing you need for this method is aluminum foil, which you will always have at home. How does this method actually work?
Procedure of this interesting washing method
Tear off a piece of aluminum foil and roll it in your hands until you get a very firm ball. You can prepare two or three balls at once. They will last you about 6 months. Put the aluminum balls into the drum of the washing machine right next to the laundry you are going to wash. Then start the machine and wash as usual. What is this method good for? It will bring you several benefits at once:
- less static in the laundry,
- no detergent stains remain on it,
- fewer clumps form.
Try this simple method and you’ll see for yourself how well it works. However, we do not recommend closing the washing machine door after washing. The moisture in the drum would have no chance to evaporate and you would thus encourage the development of fungi, mold and other microorganisms that would get onto your laundry during subsequent washes. If you want perfectly clean and fragrant laundry, you should also follow other proven tips that help keep clothes longer in their original colors and shape.
How to wash properly
The basis is, of course, the proper sorting of laundry and a detergent that matches its color and material. Always make sure before washing that you are using the correct program and temperature. If not, you can ruin and damage your clothing. Furthermore, it is also important to put detergents in the places designated for them. If it is a liquid or powder detergent, put it into the dispenser and not directly into the drum, where it will not have the same effect and its residues will remain on your clothes. And for that it is enough to keep a few basic washing rules in mind.
