Ginger, a spice originating from the regions of China and India, has been known in Europe for centuries. It is obtained from the rhizomes of the plant of the same name. It has gained considerable popularity due to its high content of vitamins (A, B1, B2, B6, C, E). It is also an important source of potassium, magnesium, sodium, phosphorus, calcium and iron. For this reason it is a great natural remedy for many ailments, including colds and flu or migraines. It is also suitable for combating nausea. It has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. It significantly reduces cholesterol, stimulates blood circulation and contributes to weight reduction. Its young rhizome is also used as a natural aphrodisiac, most often in combination with honey. The active substance contained in ginger is also gingerol, which gives this root its characteristic spicy taste.

Despite the many beneficial effects of ginger on our health, it is not recommended to consume it long-term and in regular doses. With frequent consumption of it “just for taste”, the human body gets used to its active substances and begins to become resistant to them. They thus lose their effectiveness.

A small miracle prepared quickly and easily

This ginger paste is effective and easy to prepare. It can be used to relieve unpleasant health problems such as osteoarthritis, rheumatism, swollen veins, muscle pain, back pain, or a sprained ankle.

To make the mixture you will need:

  • 2 medium-sized roots of ginger
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of sea salt

We crush the ginger roots in a bowl. Then we add the garlic and salt, combining all ingredients into a uniform mixture. We wrap the resulting paste in plastic wrap and let it rest for at least 6 hours in a cool place.

Apply the rested mixture to cleansed skin and leave it on for 30 minutes. It is not suitable for use on damaged skin or open wounds.
