Probably many gardeners have encountered the problem when cucumbers began to grow and small white spots appeared on the lower leaves, which later turned into large spots. As a result, the leaves dry out one by one and the bush is destroyed without producing fruit. All this is the consequence of cucumbers being damaged by aphids. Proper preventive measures should be taken in time.
Caring for cucumbers
Pests suck the sap from the leaves and they eventually dry out. As a prophylactic measure you can use tar soap that does not contain chemicals. This soap has antibacterial properties and will definitely help.
Method:
Mix 2 doses of liquid tar soap with 1.5 liters of water, or grate 14 g of tar soap and mix with 10 liters of water.

Spray the leaves every 10 days.
You can also add any fertilizer you consider necessary to the tar soap solution.
If the cucumber bushes are seriously affected by aphids or other pests, you can add about 1 tablespoon of oil to the tar soap solution.
Oil will cover the pests with a film, they will have no way to breathe and will die.
However, after using oil you must wash the sprayer thoroughly. It is important to mention that you should remove the lower leaves. This way the bush loses less sap and is more resistant.
We wish you a bountiful harvest!
