According to superstition, never kill a spider. Why?
It isn’t explained in detail, but killing a spider brings bad luck
The truth is that spiders are an important part of nature and our indoor ecosystem – just like other animals!
Although predators are generally willing to eat anything that comes to hand, spiders regularly prey on annoying pests and even disease-carrying insects like mosquitoes. There is even a species of jumping spider that prefers to feed on blood-feeding mosquitoes.

By killing this insect, we therefore allow our homes to be colonized by other pests
Scientists also say that it’s perfectly normal to want to kill a spider as soon as we see it. Long legs, lots of eyes and it releases venom, but that is in most cases too weak to cause you any trouble, even if its “teeth” were to penetrate your skin.
A spider bite is very rare
Although there are dangerous spiders, such as the black widow or the recluse spider, they are rare. If you really can’t stand a spider in the house, apartment, garage or anywhere else, try to catch it and release it outside instead of killing it. It will find another home and you will be happy and satisfied!
Finally, we have a video for you showing how you should definitely not catch a spider at home!
