The number of new cases of the disease covid-19 in the Czech Republic has begun to increase again. Since Monday the numbers had been falling, however on Friday the number of infected rose by 86. Even so, this is the second lowest number of the week.
Since the beginning of the week the daily increase of newly infected people in the Czech Republic has begun to decline.
On Monday 154 infected people were added, on Tuesday 133 and on Wednesday 99. On Thursday the number of newly infected was 55, the lowest since mid-March. On Friday the numbers began to rise again. The total number of infected increased by 86.
According to the Ministry of Health, however, it is still the second lowest number of the week.
The dark scenarios that the government predicted after Easter fortunately did not come true.
The situation is good despite yesterday’s higher number of newly infected. At the beginning of April the share of confirmed infection cases to the number of tests was almost five percent. This week the figures fell each day, except for Friday. The share of newly recorded cases to the number of tests was 1.12 percent on Wednesday and 0.7 percent on Thursday. On Friday, however, it was 1.22 percent.
On the other hand, 2,389 people have already recovered from the disease.
