Our bones are connected to each other by joints, which thus allow us to stand upright and perform various bodily movements.

Any damage to the joints, however, can lead to very severe pain and not infrequently even to the loss of the ability to move.

Causes and conventional treatment of joint pain

Damage and pain can be the result of an injury, but more often it is degenerative joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis or gout (accumulation of uric acid).

Occasionally it may be muscle and tendon pain radiating into the joint area.

Doctors’ response to these health problems is often the use of medications that only artificially suppress the pain, but do not address the underlying causes. In addition, they can overburden and damage the liver.

The result can then often be further deterioration of the joints’ condition, worsening of their functionality and stronger pain when the medication is discontinued.

A better choice is therefore to use gentler and often more effective natural remedies.

Another option is therapies for external use. We will tell you more about one of them in this article. It involves an oil with strong anti-inflammatory effects.

Ingredients

One of the most effective home remedies for joint pain you can make yourself in the comfort of your home.

To prepare it you will need the following ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of hot chili spice
  • 1 dcl of warm olive oil

Preparation

Follow these steps:

1. Boil water and pour it into a bowl or pot.

2. Pour the olive oil into a jar and immerse it in the hot water for a few minutes to warm it slightly.

3. Then add the chili spice to the oil and stir well.

4. The oil anti-inflammatory mixture is ready for use.

Application

Massage the mixture of olive oil and chili spice into the sore joints. Leave it on for 15 minutes, then rinse it off with lukewarm water.

For increased effect you can also make a wrap using kitchen plastic wrap and place a warm scarf or another piece of clothing over it.

The effect should appear within a few minutes. For the best result, however, repeat the procedure several times a day, ideally 2 to 3 times.
