Problems with oily skin are often accompanied by enlarged pores. Most women try to mask this problem with make-up or a tinted cream. Such skin treatment does not help at all, quite the opposite. It often leads to clogged pores and the problem appears. Enlarged pores on the face trouble many women and girls. Sometimes it concerns only a part of the face, e.g. the nose; with combination skin it may affect primarily the forehead area. Do not try to mechanically extract clogged pores. You can easily introduce an infection into the wound. Unsightly red spots may then appear on the face.
You need to accept the idea that pores will never become invisible, but their size can be noticeably reduced. A homemade face mask made from white clay will help with that.
What you need to start with
Before you start applying a face mask to problem areas, you must thoroughly remove your makeup and cleanse your skin. You can also use a gentle peeling. Never rinse your face with hot water.
Making a homemade face mask
- 2 teaspoons of white clay
- Water
- 1 teaspoon of aloe vera juice
- Chamomile infusion
Method:
Mix the white clay with the aloe vera juice and, to achieve the optimal consistency (approximately the thickness of a cream), add water drop by drop. The mask must be easy to apply but must not run.
Apply the mask to your face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly with the chamomile infusion. Finally, don’t forget to apply a moisturizing cream to the skin.
This mask is also suitable for those who suffer from increased facial pigmentation and dream of lightening pigmented spots and freckles. White clay is a small miracle in this respect, able to lighten the skin by several shades.
You can help prevent enlarged pores with quality cosmetics, daily thorough makeup removal and skin cleansing, and a proper lifestyle.
