Voices are increasingly claiming that cancer can only develop in an acidic environment, as with most chronic diseases. That would mean that in an alkaline environment these illnesses have no chance of arising. An alkaline environment is characterized by a pH value above 7.36. We can achieve an alkaline environment in our body by drinking alkaline water. This drink contains only three easily available ingredients and its consumption is completely safe.
Can neutralizing the acidic environment in our bodies prevent the onset of diseases? Yes!
Consuming alkaline water will help our body defend itself against the development of various diseases; it is also worth mentioning that this way we kick off a drinking routine first thing in the morning, which is then easier to maintain throughout the day. To prepare the drink we will therefore need:
- 1 lemon,
- 2 l of purified filtered water,
- 1 tablespoon of pink Himalayan salt.
Pour all three ingredients into a glass container, ideally a large preserving jar with a lid. Leave it to sit overnight. Ideally, drink three glasses of this prepared water every morning on an empty stomach.
How does the lemon itself work against cancer?
Putting aside the need to change the body’s acidic environment to an alkaline one, it is also interesting how the lemon itself works against cancer. Scientific research has come across an interesting finding. They discovered MCP, which is a carbohydrate found in lemon. Studies have shown that it can inhibit the spread of breast, prostate, liver, bone and skin cancers. Limonoid is a chemical substance present in lemon that is capable of slowing the growth of tumor cells. Vitamin C and other antioxidants contained in lemon help prevent free radicals from damaging cells that can lead to cancer. So if you are not a fan of salty water or if the daily preparation of the alkaline drink seems too demanding, regularly drinking plain water with lemon may be a solution for you.
