- Vegetable preparation: Wash and peel the vegetables. Boil the potatoes and carrots in salted water until tender. After cooking, cut the vegetables into small cubes.
- Mixture preparation: Place the chopped vegetables into 1 cup of warm broth. Finely chop the dill and mix it with the lemon juice. Add to the vegetables. Mix the gelatin with the mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, pepper and salt. Mix everything thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
- Preparing the eggs: Hard-boil the eggs and let them cool.
- Assembling the roulade: Lay out plastic wrap on your work surface. Spread half of the prepared vegetable and mayonnaise mixture evenly on the wrap. Place the cooked eggs in the center. Add the remaining vegetable and mayonnaise mixture over the eggs. Wrap the roulade in the wrap and let it set in the refrigerator for 2–3 hours.
