- Place the chicken in a pot together with the peeled onion. Pour in the water and the apple cider vinegar. Bring to a boil, remove the accumulated foam and reduce the heat to a minimum.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the water and simmer for 2-3 hours. The longer it simmers, the better.
- Remove the vegetables and the chicken meat and strain the broth. Wait until the chicken cools slightly, cut it into smaller pieces and return it to the broth.
- To thicken the broth you can choose noodles, white beans or hard-boiled eggs.
