- Clean the beet and cut it into wedges. we line the baking dish with foil – it should cover the sides of the dish. On the foil we place pieces of beet, unpeeled garlic cloves, season with salt, spices, herbs and finally drizzle with the liquid ingredients.
- Now comes the most important part, wrapping. On top of the beet we place another piece of foil and fold the overhanging ends of the foil on the sides of the dish, thereby creating a kind of closed, tight package, inside which the beet is with all the ingredients and the juice won't leak out.
- We put it in a preheated oven and at 200 degrees bake for 60-90 minutes (everything depends on the size of the beet must be soft).
