  • Preparing the starter: In 2 dcl lukewarm milk, dissolve the yeast, 1 teaspoon of sugar and let the starter rest for approximately 20 minutes, until it becomes frothy.
  • Preparing the dough: Mix the flour with the remaining sugar and salt. Add the starter, oil and gradually pour in the remaining milk until a smooth, non-sticky dough forms. Knead it thoroughly and leave it to rise in a warm place until the dough doubles in size.
  • Shaping the buns: Roll out the risen dough to about 1 cm thickness and cut into squares. Fill each square with the chosen filling (quark, jam, etc.), fold and shape into buns.
  • Baking: Arrange the buns on a baking tray lined with baking paper, brush with oil and let rise for another 20 minutes. Then bake in an oven preheated to 180 °C for 20 minutes.
