Vanilla pastries are among the classic treats that take us back to childhood. This recipe is simple, quick, and requires only basic ingredients that most of us have at home. Prepare this delicious treat and enjoy sweet nostalgia!

Preparation procedure

  • Preparing the dough: Place the fat in a bowl and add the yogurt. Gradually add the flour and work it into a smooth dough.
  • Shaping and baking: Divide the dough into two parts and on a lightly floured surface roll it out with a rolling pin into a sheet about 3–4 mm thick. Use a glass to cut out circles and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for approximately 15–20 minutes, until the pastries are lightly browned.
  • Finishing: Let the baked cookies cool and sandwich them with jam of your choice (we recommend apricot or currant). Mix the powdered and vanilla sugar and coat each piece of pastry in it.
