Preparation procedure

  • Biscuit base Crush the biscuits finely (in a blender or with a rolling pin) and mix with the melted butter. Press the resulting mixture into the bottom of a cake pan lined with baking paper. Smooth and refrigerate.
  • Coconut filling Heat the milk with the sugar and vanilla sugar in a pot. When it starts to boil, add the baby semolina and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened (approx. 3–5 minutes). Then add the butter and grated coconut. Mix the mixture well and spread it while still warm onto the biscuit base. Smooth and chill again.
  • Chocolate glaze Melt the chocolate with the cream and a teaspoon of butter in a double boiler or in the microwave. Stir until smooth. Pour over the coconut layer and spread evenly. Let the cake rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, ideally overnight.
