  • Crumble the yeast into the lukewarm milk, add the sugar and leave for 15 minutes to form a sponge. Sift the flour into a bowl, add the salt, egg and the sponge. Gradually pour in the milk and work into a supple dough that does not stick. Finally fold in the chopped roll.
  • Cover the dough and let it rise for 50 minutes in a warm place. After rising, divide the dough into three equal parts and shape each into a roll. Let rest for 20 minutes under a cloth.
  • Prepare a pot with water and a clean cloth stretched over the top or a steaming insert. Place the dumpling on the steam and cook for 18 to 20 minutes. After removing, pierce the dumpling with a skewer and lightly brush with oil to prevent the surface from cracking.
