  • Preparing the mixture: Take a large bowl and add the oat flakes. Mix them with plain yogurt or kefir. If you use full‑fat yogurt, you don't need to sweeten the cookies much, because they will be sweet on their own. Let the mixture sit for about 30 minutes so the oats absorb moisture and soften.
  • Preparing the apples: Meanwhile prepare the apples – grate them finely or coarsely, according to preference. Add the raisins, cinnamon and honey and mix everything well.
  • Combining the ingredients: Now add the apple mixture to the yogurt oats and mix everything thoroughly again. The dough should be moldable; it must not crumble or fall apart.
  • Shaping and baking: Using a spoon or your hands, shape small mounds and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Gently press them with your hands so they are not too tall and bake evenly. Place the sheet into a preheated oven at 180 °C and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Cooling and serving: After baking, let the cookies cool on the sheet for a while. Then enjoy them as a healthy snack or dessert.
