After Easter we often think about how to make use of all those boiled eggs. One of the most popular classics is a creamy egg salad. It’s quick, simple, and tastes great with fresh bread or as part of a cold platter. Just a few basic ingredients are enough and the result is always perfect.

Preparation procedure

  • Peel the eggs and chop them into small cubes.
  • Finely chop the onion and add it to the eggs.
  • Stir in the mustard, mayonnaise, and finely chopped chives.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and optionally a pinch of paprika.
  • Mix the salad well and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
